There are a number of strategies and tactics that White Square Studio has utilised in order to organically grow Gourmade’s social following by 21% but the key to the success is in the consistency and continuity of Gourmade’s strong branding with vibrant posts online.
Naturally delicious foods tend to entice and excite an audience online, so it was imperative for us to ensure Gourmade’s product photography captured the food’s quality to the power that experience for online audiences. Some of the highest engaging posts are ones where fans and foodies alike have posted their own photos tagging in Gourmade, which has proved to be a successful pillar to the social media strategy as it offers a ‘referral’ like brand advocacy effect.
True to the Gourmade brand, the social media content is light, bright and delicious. Engagement and response to online audiences have been key to ensure the level of customer service is maintained whilst also enabling the growth of Gourmade’s following. In addition, organically Gourmade’s sales and website footfall has been impressive and impactful for the brand’s sales figures.
COMPETITIONS & COLLABORATIONS
Powerful for the opportunity they bring for potential reach, awareness and follower growth we’ve run a number of competitions in line with campaigns to increase the impact of sales promotions. Competition mechanics can vary, and often offer different results depending on which is used and what the goal is. As an example we have run successful competitions in which the main ‘entry mechanic’ is to share a post with friends – this, of course, helps to increase the reach of the brand vs. a competition that simply requests commenting or liking, which focuses more on increasing the engagement of existing fans and followers.
